The group’s work on the synthesis and Diels–Alder reactivity of substituted [4]dendralenes was chosen as the ACS Editor’s Choice open access publication for 29 January 2016.

We welcome visiting Masters scholar Maryne Dubois from Universite Paris Descartes, France, who will be with us for 6 months.

Congratulations to Joseph, Maddie and Natalie who graduated with BSc(Hons) on Wednesday 16 December 2015. A special congratulations to Joseph and Natalie, who were awarded a University Medal for sustained high level performance throughout their undergraduate and Honours studies.

Natalie won a prize for the best student oral presentation at the Royal Australian Chemical Institute NSW Organic Chemistry Group 36^th Annual One-Day Symposium, Macquarie University on 2nd December, 2015.
